Smith Davis' passion of playing house music started in 1993.
Inspired in the early days of Chicago and West-Coast house music, this was for him the way to go-on with this kind of electronic music.

Later on, he was also interested in other styles and plays a mixture of other electronic music such as deep-funky minimal house, house and tech house, only music that keeps your ass moving.
His sound carries on in as well national as international clubs with his residency at Supperclub A'dam and De Rechter Eindhoven and frequently guest in H2O Belgium.

In 2007 he is invited by Caf D'Anvers to play several Classics nights and become a resident at the Kiss U Better night with everytime a fully succes. Years later also Space Club Ibiza invited him to play a set at the Main Room on the legendary We Love Sundays .

Nowadays he plays Deep House And Deeper stuff as a resident at Culture Club, Kitsch Club, BLOODY LOUIS , Magic and 69 Club and lots of festivals such as Extrema Outdoor, Tomorrowland ( since first edition 2010 ) , Wecandance, Hype O Dream , Voodoo Village , Paradise City , Pukkelpop , Cirque Magique and many many more ..
In 2018 Smith Davis started his alter ego aka PEOPLE OF INTEREST, a new up-and-coming house project together with Gavin Francis.

No newbies to house music, Smith & Gavin have released on labels likeToolroom, Simma Black, Sony Music, have been featured on compilations like Pure House, Ministry of Sound, TEN , Stereonized, have had chart topping releases in the Belgian national charts, are no strangers to the Beatport, Traxsource, Shazam charts and have had tracks supported by BBC Radio 1, Radio FG and KISSFM.

Bookingwise they have played national and international festivals from the likes of Tomorrowland to Ostend beach, Extrema Outdoor, Cirque Magique , Voodoo Village , WeCanDance and clubs ranging from Club Vaag, Café D’Anvers, Culture Club , Decadance, Versuz , LaRocca , Toffler , Space Ibiza, Ocean Club Marbella,Blue Marlin Ibiza and countries from the likes of India to the USA, UK, Ibiza,Hong Kong , France , Russia , Sweden and Thailand and alongside artists like the Martinez Brothers, Luciano, Laurent Garnier, The Glimmers , 2 Many Dj’s ,Dubfire , DJ T , Dan Ghenacia , Ben Watt , Pete Heller , Pan Pot , Slam , Pete Tong , Karmon , Kölsch , Loco Dice, Reboot , Purple Disco Machine , Jamie Jones Cassie , Anotr , Riva Starr , Patrick Topping , Skream , Shlomi Aber , Richy Ahmed, Waff and Mattias Tanzmann, prior to starting ‘ PEOPLE OF INTEREST ’.

People of Interest hit off 2018 with releases on Toolroom Records “Cala Bassa’ which reached the top 10 selling Funky house vinyl bestseller on Juno and eventually sold out twice, Stashed music and Overdose records. People of Interest is set to launch their house music imprint ‘POI Records’ in 2019. The duo have done events throughout Belgium with artists like Davide Squillace, Art Department ,Latmun, Tapesh, Franky Rizardo, Luuk Van Dijk,... have hosted a stage at Ostend Beach festival in 2018 and at Destino Pacha resort in Ibiza.
