With his own talent and high level support from the above industry names, such as Solomun, with ‘Never Stop’ recently on Diynamic and opening for Solomun on the Diynamic stage at the upcoming Sonar Festival in Barcelona.... Amsterdam DJ/ producer, label boss, drummer and jazz pianist, live artist from 2023, Rose Ringed is poised to be as big as his mighty streaming stats. His deeply felt mission is to ‘tell stories through sound’, using strong chord progressions, melody and harmonies. With a Marktkantine residency behind him and shows with the likes of Sven Vath, Joris Voorn, Mano, Mind Against, Eelke Klein and Ame, Booka Shade; with 19 releases on his own Closed Eyes imprint, Diynamic, and Voorn’s Spectrum this coming year, he’s also working on his first album for 2024, dedicated to his emotionally enlightened jazz ballerina mom, tragically lost to him in childhood.

Rose now creates upbeat, emotionally sweeping, compulsively danceable productions with big emotive breakdowns, having learned the cathartic power of music as a bereaved 11 year-old listening to his dad’s trance CDs, and feeling driven to share that power. His first EP 'Spring Memories’ became an instant success in 2018, when Kölsch played his 'In Your Arms Again' on BBC Radio 1. In 2020, Rose took the deep dive to follow his passion as a musician and DJ/producer. From the certainties of business he formed his Closed Eyes label, and started racking up his Spotify stats. His first all-nighter is soon to launch at Club Atelier, the venue of the former Marktkantine, his first residency. He’s now often at Het Sieraad, and has played with Sven Vath, Joris Voorn, Mano, Mind Against, Eelke Klein, Booka Shade, Ame, and this coming year, Solumun at Sonar Barcelona for Diynamic, with Yotto at Shelter, and what’s more, will be hosting his own stage at De Zon Festival Amsterdam.
Apart from the success of EPs on Closed Eyes label, like Broken Belief, and In Search for Truth, his Nov 2022 Diynamic debut had support from Michael Bibi, Joris Voorn, Tiesto and even David Guetta as well as Solomun.

His current DJ influences include Gerd Janson, Bicep, Kolsch, Job Jobse, Fort Romeau, Joris Voorn, Palms Traxx, Solomun, Paul Kalkbrenner, Todd Terje, Moby and Rufus. Early on, both his parents were music enthusiasts, but a huge influence on Rose’s music and life is his loss in early childhood of his mother, an accomplished jazz ballerina and an enlightened soul. The grieving 11 year-old instinctively turned to emotional such as Enya, Hans Zimmer, Howard Shore, and later, the euphoria and solace of electronic music, especially trance’s ‘high energy and emotive soundscapes’ from Rose’s dad who bought dance CDs from Ibiza beach vendors, with Armin van Buuren’s State of Trance and Tiesto as major influences. As a child, Rose learned drumming, later he took up jazz piano too, to expand his musical knowledge and ability to improvise. Rose still seeks to honour his mom’s legacy by sharing his own music’s drive and optimism with others and composing his forthcoming debut album in her memory.
