Born and raised in the northern part of the Netherlands (Friesland) Carmen Lisa began her career by playing at small clubs and underground parties. As her career took off, her energetic performances and authentic sound caught the attention of Secret Cinema's GEM records bookingsagency, which she joined as one of their first female artists.

She quickly became known for her ability and got booked at festivals like Loveland festival, Dockyard festival, In Retraite festival, Rave the planet Parade (former Loveparade in Berlin), Awakenings Gashouder, Shelter, Tomorrowland festival Drumcode stage, Free your mind festival, Awakenings Podcast, radiostation Boomroom (SlamFM) and other major events/shows. 

Carmen Lisa's rise to acknowledgement is a testament to her talent, persistence and perseverance. With her infectious energy, she is determined to make her mark on the scene.
